Alfredo R. Garcia, 71, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Garcia was born in Catarina, Texas on February 9, 1955, to Margarita Rangel Garcia and Mateo C. Garcia Jr. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ruben Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Pedro Garcia, son, Alfredo Garcia Jr.

Alfredo is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Elva Garcia, children, Eloisa Jimenez and husband, Micheal Jimenez, of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Felipe Garcia and wife, Jin Zareth, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Richard Garcia and wife, Janie of Corpus Christi, Texas, sisters, Lidia Garcia of New Braunfels, Texas, Ninfa Garcia Gonzales of Austin, Texas, along with 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren.

The Garcia family will honor their loved one on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Serving as pallbearers will Michael Jimenez, Felipe Garcia, Michael Jimenez Jr., Richard Garcia, Carlos G. Garza, Herbert Gilbert, James Wilson and Eloisa Jimenez.
