Aurora Briones Carrizales, 72, entered eternal rest, Sunday, May 12, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Carrizales is preceded in death by her parents, Gregoria Ramirez Briones and Elpidio Briones; son, Roque B. Carrizales; brothers, Elpidio Briones Jr., Santiago "Fale" Faz and Jesse Briones.

Aurora is survived by her daughters, Priscilla S. Carrizales and Kathleen "Roxy" Cowick; sons, Rene Carrizales and Rocky Carrizales IV; brother, Joe Briones; sister, Anita Rodriguez along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The Carrizales family will honor their loved one on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
