Beatrice Almendarez, 75, entered into eternal rest, December 8, 2023, in Austin, Texas. Ms. Almendarez is preceded in death by husband Abel Almendarez, brothers, Raul Montez, Manuel Montez, Arturo Montez, Alfredo Gonzalez and Jose Montez.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Annette Almendarez Rowe, Laura Juarez;  sons, Abel Almendarez, Jose Almendarez, Mark Gonzalez, Xavier Almendarez; sisters, Hortencia Montez Jones, Daisy Rocha.

The Almendarez family will honor their loved one on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
