Clemente Zarate Jr., 70, entered eternal rest Saturday, February 24, 2024, in New Braunfels, Texas. Mr. Zarate is preceded in death by his parents, Eva Diaz and Clemente Zarate.

Clemente is survived by his wife of 13 years, Raquel Zarate; stepdaughter, Jackie Morin and husband Jaime; stepson, Michael Garza Jr. and wife Melissa; brothers, Silverio Zarate, Noe Zarate; sister, Florinda Zarate; nieces, Elvia Chavera, Nydia Rodriguez, Nadia Ochoa; nephews, Carlos Zarate, Noe Zarate Jr., Nathan Zarate along with 7 grandsons, Reggie, Jacob, Matthew, Marcus, Joshua, Mason and Mikey.

The Zarate family will honor their loved one on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Iglesia Mision de Fe in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
