David Ervin Washington, 71 entered eternal rest, April 24, 2026, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Washington is preceded in death by his Parents, Mary Lou and Charlie Washington Sr. and his Brother Charlie Washington Jr.

David is survived by his Son, Denzel Washington Daughter, Jada Washington, Nephews, Donnie Washington Jr. and Xavier Washington; Brother, Donnie Washington.; Sisters, Dorthy Washington, Melissa Washington, Rose Mosby and Sharon Washington.

The Washington family will honor their loved one on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at First Baptist Church at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
