Obituary

Dolores Orosco Luna, age 81, was born in Forney, Texas on September 20, 1945, and entered Eternal Rest on September 27, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was the daughter of Salvador Orosco and Lorenza Ortiz Orosco, who preceded her in death. She came from a large family and experienced the loss of many people she loved throughout her lifetime, including her brothers Thomas, Chuy, Aurelio, Beto, and Pete, and her sisters Mary Lou "Licha" Ledesma, Antonia "Tonia" Lerma, and Juanita "Janie" Ramon. She leaves behind her sisters, Estella Catano and Lorenza Galvan. But perhaps one of her greatest legacies is the family that grew from her life.

She was a mother of three daughters: Connie Rodriguez and her husband Victor, Vicky Sullivan and her husband Timothy, and Josie Rodriguez and her husband Hector.

Her family continued to grow through her grandchildren: Angel Krana, Robert Rodriguez and his wife Jessica, Victor Rodriguez III and his wife Angel, Alejandro Mariano Rodriguez, and Isabella Rodriguez.

And then came another generation—her great-grandchildren: Samara Ramos-Murillo and husband Javier, Mark Lane Krana, Gabriel Cisneros, Elias Cisneros, Vivianna Cisneros, Lilith Cisneros, Tristan Rodriguez, and Justin Rodriguez.

Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Rodriguez Jr., Victor Rodriguez III, Alejandro M. Rodriguez, Timothy Sullivan, Hector Rodriguez, Jesus "Chuy" Ramon.

The family will honor their loved one on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church which will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe #3 Cemetery.
