Dominga Fernandez Alfaro, 87, entered eternal rest, day, March 9, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas. Mrs. Alfaro is preceded in death by her parents; Florencia Garcia and Filiberto Almendarez, husband; Lorenzo Manuel Fernandez, sister; Maria Guerrero, brother; Abel Almendarez.

Dominga is survived by her daughters; Alma Talamantes, Edna Tolento, Ida Reyes, Olivia Duerksen, Elsa Lujan, Raquel Zarate, sons; Felix Fernandez, Robert Fernandez, brother; Filiberto Almendarez Jr., sisters; Florencia Trevino, Elida Garcia, Anastacia Tailes along with 26 grandchildren and 62 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

The Fernandez-Alfaro family will honor their loved one on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m.
