Elena T. Perez, 85, entered into eternal rest, October 8, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Elena is preceded in death by her husband Jesus M. Perez Jr.; son, Arturo T. Perez; sisters, Adela Flores and Oralia Elizondo.

Elena is survived by her daughters, Debra DeLeon (Jerry), Mary Frances Salazar (Albert), Samantha Perala (David); sons, Jesus T. Perez III, Jose L. Perez (Natalia), Reynaldo Perez (Lola); brother, Gilberto Tovar (Maria); sisters, Marylou Ortiz (Henry Ɨ), Consuelo Garcia (Ifrain Ɨ) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Perez family will honor their loved one on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 14, 2023, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Big Wells. Honoring the family's wishes, inurnment will follow at a later date.
