Emma Hernandez, 79, entered eternal rest Sunday, February 25, 2024, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents and son, Marcelo Hernandez.

Emma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jose Marcelo Hernandez; daughters, Josefina Macias, Eva Aguilar, Gloria Saucedo, Claudia Davila brothers; Julio Galindo, Jesus Jimenez; sister, Rosy Olvera along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Hernandez family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
