Ernesto Canales Rodriguez, 93, entered eternal rest, January 13, 2025, in Crystal City, Texas. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents; Maria Cruz Canales and Reymundo Rodriguez, brothers; Elias Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, sisters; Esperanza Martinez, and Otila Arambula.

Ernesto is survived by his wife; Elvira T. Rodriguez, son; Gerardo Rodriguez, Victor Daniel Tellez, sisters; Hermila Rodriguez, Emma Garza, grandchildren; Victor Daniel Tellez Jr., Dianida Tellez along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The Rodriguez family will honor their loved one on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Iglesia Metodista Unida Swindall M. Interment followed at the Benito Juarez Cemetery in Crystal City.
