Estela V Hernandez, 89, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mrs. Hernandez was born in Laredo, Texas on October 18, 1936, to Manuel Vargas and Tiodora Cardona. Mrs. Vargas is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Domingo R. Hernandez.

Estela is survived by her Sons, Robert Hernandez, Richard Hernandez, Larry Hernandez, Basilio Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez, and Juan Jose Hernandez. Brother Manuel Vargas Jr. and Guadalupe Vargas. Sisters, Nevolena Sifuentes, Delia Cano and Alicia Vargas. Along with Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren.

The Hernandez family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 ​PM to 9:00 ​P​M. A rosary will begin at 7:00 ​P​M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10:00 ​A​M. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
