Genoveva Ramirez, 91, entered eternal rest, May 3, 2026, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Ramirez was born on December 22, 1934, to Inez Melendrez and Pablo De La Cruz. Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Eduvijen Ramirez, sons, Ismael Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, siblings, Pablo De La Cruz, Clemente De La Cruz,  Julia Cavazos, Consuelo Morin.

Genoveva is survived by her sons, Eduvijen Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez, Martin Ramirez, Rene Ramirez, Adolfo Ramirez, siblings, Ramona Ramirez, Gloria Perales, along with 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Ramirez family will honor their loved one on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe #4 Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Martin Ramirez, Eduvijen Ramirez III, Peter Ramirez, Roger Castillo, Eric Ramirez, and Miguel Perez Jr.
