Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Ana Maria Robledo Gallegos, daughter, Virginia Gallegos, sons, Daniel Gallegos, Mark Gallegos and wife, Sarah, Phillip Gallegos and wife, Monica, mother, Jeanette Gallegos, brothers, Robert Gallegos, Steven Gallegos, sister, Rosie Flores.

The Gallegos family will honor their loved one on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church which will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Guadalupe # 4.
