Guadalupe Guerra Hernandez, born in Carrizo Springs, Texas, August 20, 1944, passed away July 8, 2026, in Fischer, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Refugia Tijerina and Gonzalo Guerra, brother, Estevan Guerra, sister, Alicia Meza.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorena Peaslee and husband, Michael Peaslee, son, Mark Hernandez, brother, Celestino Guerra, grandchildren, Veronica Terry, Adriana Peaslee, Theresa Peaslee, Meliza Hernandez, Lacey Paige Hernandez, Anthony Holt Hernandez, Cameron Raul Hernandez, and Candi Joyce Hernandez, along with 5 great grandchildren.

The Guerra-Hernandez family will honor their loved one on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Peaslee, Theresa Peaslee, Lorena Peaslee, Verónica Terry, Rick Yanez and Ricardo Martínez.
