Hector V. Gonzalez, 77, entered into eternal rest, September 7, 2023, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents Jesus Gonzalez and Aurora Vallejo Gonzalez; brothers, Jose Gonzalez, Pablo Gonzalez; sisters, Maria Garza, Sally DeLeon, Elida Mendoza; great-granddaughter, Makenzy Ryanne Mendoza.

Hector is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary Gonzalez; sons, Hector V. Gonzalez Jr.(Amy), James M. Gonzalez; daughter, Jennifer Gonzalez-Rios; sisters, Olga Mendoza, Aurora Ortega; five grandchildren, Mathew Ryan Mendoza, Mariah Gonzalez, Lauren Gonzalez, Nathan Gonzalez, Felisha Dawn Rios; one great-grandchild, Malina Grace Sifuentez.

The Gonzalez family will honor their loved one on Monday September 11, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Asherton. Interment will follow to the Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton.
