Israel Rivera, 62, entered eternal rest on September 22, 2025, in Brenham, Texas. Israel was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 24,1962, to Eudelia Romo + and Eugenio Rivera +. Israel is preceded in death by parents and three brothers: Eugenio "Gene" Rivera Jr., Enrique "Ricky" Rivera, and Adan Rivera.

Israel is survived by three sisters: Martha Castillo and husband, Juan, Deborah "Debbie" Rivera, Elizema "Sam" Rivera, Rosalinda "Penny" Rivera and husband, Israel Trevino, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The Rivera family will honor their loved one on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will begin at 7:30 pm. A chapel service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Leonard Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery #4.
