Jose P. Martinez Sr., 76, entered eternal rest, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents; Epifania Puente Martinez and Marcos Martinez, brothers; Alfredo Martinez and Ricardo Martinez.

Jose is survived by his wife of 50 years Rosalinda Jimenez Martinez, daughters; Melissa Martinez, Josie Martinez, Elvira Martinez, sons; Joe Martinez Jr., Enrique "Henry" Martinez, brothers; Marcos Martinez Jr., Oscar Martinez, Raul Martinez, Robert Martinez, sister; Ofelia Martinez, Rosa Martinez Elizondo, Yolanda Martinez Minjares and Diana Martinez Serna, along with 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.

The Martinez family will honor their loved one on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Big Wells where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Joe Martinez Jr., Enrique "Henry" Martinez, Mario Galan, JoeLee Fuentes, Joshua Martinez, Ricky Martinez and Zack Fuentes.
