Josefa Gomez Garcia, 80, entered eternal rest Saturday, December 14, 2024, in New Braunfels, Texas. Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her parents, Tito Gomez and Juanita Lopez Gomez, husband, Nicolas Garcia, brothers, Cesar Gomez, Norberto Gomez, sisters, Maria Aviles and Guadalupe Acosta.

Josefa is survived by her daughters, Laurie Ruiz, Edna Treviño, Janie Villarreal, Debbie Robledo, Nicole Garcia, son, Cesar Garcia, brother, Jesus Gomez, sister Isabel Perales, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Gomez-Garcia family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe #3 Cemetery.
