Juan Lopez Leal, 69, entered into eternal rest, September 5, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Leal is preceded in death by his parents; Modesto and Virginia Leal, siblings; Modesto Leal Jr., Connie Leal, Christina Leal and Anaberti Leal.

Juan is survived by his wife; Velma Leal, son; John Gabriel Morales and wife Denise, granddaughters; Lily Sierra Morales and Mackenzie Lynn Morales, siblings; Gilbert Leal and wife Rosie, Irma Guzman and husband Celestino, Ana Cubriel and husband Armando, Sarah Esqueda and husband Henry, Elias Leal and husband George, Jesse Leal, Phillip Leal and wife Barbara, Lisa Leal, Gracie Martinez and husband Ernest, Deauwayne Leal and wife Blake.

The Leal family will honor their loved one on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Asherton where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at a Guadalupe Cemetery in Carrizo Springs.

Pallbearers will be Alfredo Flores, Rick Gonzales, Rodrigo Jaime, Arturo Ruiz, Eliseo Gutierrez, Gilbert Gutierrez, Gumecindo Cervantez, Hernando Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jose Sosa, Armando Yanez and Jose Gutierrez.
