Juanita Capetillo was born on June 24, 1934, in Mexico, and went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2023, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. She is survived by her brothers, Adalberto Capetillo, Francisco Capetillo and sisters, Diamantina A. Mendoza, Oralia C. Rubio, Esperanza Mendoza. She is preceded in death by her parents Eleuterio Capetillo and Virginia Padron Capetillo as well as her brother Tiburcio Capetillo.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 o'clock mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Carrizo Springs on August 31, 2023. Interment follows at the Guadalupe #4 Cemetery in Carrizo Springs. Services are under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home.
