Juanita Rocha Villanueva,

Age 86 was born in Eddy, Texas on August 22, 1939 to Manuel Rocha and Maria Mendoza Rocha, passed away on September 18th, 2025. The daughter of immigrants, Juanita spent most of her life working hard alongside her family for many years. Later in life Juanita met and fell in love with and married our father Gilberto Losoya Villanueva Sr. on May 31, 1964 and began their long journey together.

In 1970 our mother gave her life to Christ which began the long and beautiful relation with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. During this time Juanita touched many lives by spreading the Gospel which over the years has brought hundreds of people to know and accept the Lord.

She is survived by her 7 beautiful children; Elizabeth V. Galindo (Ivan Galindo), Norma V. Hernandez (Leonardo Hernandez Jr.), Anna Luisa Villanueva, Sandra V. Galindo, (Joe Galindo), Ruth V. Hernandez (Leo Hernandez II) Gilbert Losoya Villanueva Jr.  (Jessica Villanueva), Adan Rocha Villanueva, 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two siblings, Ramona Garza and Josefa Reyna.

Her desire in life was for everyone to know the love and grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Her legacy lives on in the lives of all those she touched. She will be dearly missed.

The Villanueva family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Templo La Hermosa in Asherton, Texas. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton, Texas.
