Julia G. Vega, 89, entered eternal rest, February 13, 2024, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mrs. Vega is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Vega, parents, Dario and Maria S. Gutierrez; sons, Frank Vega Jr., Johnny Vega, Ruben Vega and Alonzo Vega; brothers, Carlos Trevino and Dario Gutierrez and daughter, Sonia Olvera.

Julia is survived by her daughters, Eva DeLuna, Erlinda Vega, Alma Ortegon, Norma Cruz, Elizabeth Ramirez and Esmeralda Puente; son, Alberto Vega.

The Vega family will honor their loved one on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe 4.
