Leonardo G. Lopez, 85, entered eternal rest, August 6, 2024, in Catarina, Texas. Mr. Lopez is preceded in death by his parents; Gorgonia (Garza) Lopez and Gabriel Lopez; brother, Julio Lopez; sister, Clemencia Canales.

Leonardo is survived by his wife of 46 years Mary Chacon Lopez; daughter, Lori Ann Martinez and husband Freddy; sons, John Gabriel Lopez and wife Alyssa, Domingo Valenzuela; sisters, Elvira Sanchez, Fidelia Ybarra, Rosa Tovar, Elena Griffith; grandchildren, Erin Fayth Gonzalez, Isaac Martinez, Eric Martinez, Delycia Roze Gonzalez, Daniel Ramirez, Carissa Renee Lopez, along with 10 great grandchildren.

The Lopez family will honor their loved one on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Carrizo Springs.

Pallbearers will be Domingo Valenzuela, Freddy Martinez, Eric Martinez, DJ Ramirez, Anthony Briseno, Carlos Salazar, Gene Gonzalez Jr., and Alvin Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be John Gabriel Lopez and Isaac Martinez.
