Leonardo Perez Montoya, 79, entered eternal rest, January 14, 2025, in Odem, Texas. Mr. Montoya is preceded in death by his wife; Olga Montoya, parents; Isabel Perez and Jose Montoy, brother; Jose Montoya.

Leonardo is survived by his daughters; Yvette Maldonado and husband Arnold Maldonado, Monica Atherton, sons; Orlando Montoya and wife Karen Montoya, Rene Montoya and wife Lisa Montoya, Leonardo Montoya Jr. and Terry Montoya, Jose Montoya and wife Marissa Montoya, Mark Anthony Montoya and wife Shai Stuart, Carlos Montoya and wife Michelle Montoya, Robert Montoya and wife Vici Montoya, Richard Montoya and wife Amber Garcia, sister; Esperansa Martinez along with 25 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

The Montoya family will honor their loved one on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m.
