Lydia R. Ruiz, 98, entered into eternal rest, October 29, 2023, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Ms. Ruiz is preceded in death by her husband Francisco E. Ruiz; son, Jose F. Ruiz; daughter, Ernestina Esparza; parents, Pedro and Paula Ybarra Rangel .

Lydia is survived by her daughters, Ofelia Copple, Dawn Michelle Montemayor; sons, Guadalupe R. Ruiz, Mario De Jesus Ruiz, Ronnie Ruiz; brother, Orelio Rangel; sisters, Leonor Dominguez, Frances Miller, Jane Zavala; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Ruiz family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Asherton where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton.
