Manuela Martinez, 86, entered eternal rest, January 20, 2024, in Asherton, Texas. Ms. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Martinez; son, Robert Martinez Jr.; parents, Tranquilino and Refugia Mendoza; sister, Josefina Mendoza.

Manuela is survived by her daughters and sons, Graciela M. Ruiz, Delia M. Alvarado (George), Gustavo Martinez (Soraida), Marisela M. Flores (Ray), Alfredo Martinez (Adriana), Ana M. Saenz (Jaime Jr.), San Juanita M. Robles (Paul); brother, Guadalupe Mendoza; sister, Santos Villastrigo; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

The Martinez family will honor their loved one on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Asherton where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton.

Pallbearers for Manuela are Daniel Ruiz Greg Alvarado, Alfredo Martinez Jr., Christopher Flores, Gustavo Martinez Jr. and Adriana Martinez. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Martinez and Eddie Ochoa.
