Maria E. Buentello was born on February 29, 1928, in Mexico and went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2023, in Catarina, Texas. She is survived by her daughter Rosa Lucio, ten grand-children and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Trinidad Buentello, parents, Roman Mireles and Guadalupe Garcia Mireles; daughters, Paula Casarez, Maria Emma Ramirez; sons, Carlos Amador, Trinidad Buentello Jr.

A visitation will be held on Thursday the 7th of September 2023, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 o'clock mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Carrizo Springs on the 8th of September 2023. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Carrizo Springs. Services under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home.
