Maria Garcia, 81, entered into eternal rest, September 8, 2023, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon H. Garcia Jr.; daughter, Maria Elsa Melendez; son, Ricardo Garcia; parents Guadalupe and Bernadina O. Perez.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Elva Garcia, Azalia Garcia Hernandez, Elisa Ruiz, Elida Rubio, Ida Garcia; sons, Rodolfo Garcia, Ramon Garcia III, Rene Garcia; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The Garcia family will honor their loved one on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9 pm.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Carrizo Springs. Interment will follow to the Guadalupe #4 Cemetery in Carrizo.
