Mariano E. Garcia, 78, entered into eternal rest, October 23, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents George and Rubé Espinoza Garcia; son, Denis R. Garcia; brother, George Garcia.

Mariano is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Juanita R. Garcia; daughters, Sonya G. Moctezuma (Pedro Jr.), Marissa G. Martinez (Roy); son, Chris Mariano Garcia (Luisa); brothers, Frank Garcia, Alfredo Garcia, Clemente Garcia, Juan Patricio Garcia; sisters, Josefa Garcia, Enedina Boltz; ten grandchildren, Yzenya E. Moctezuma, Xylina N. Moctezuma, Kiana R. Moctezuma-James (Rodney), Pedro Garcia Moctezuma III, Carissa R. Muñoz (Jose), Calvin I. Martinez, Jonah E. Martinez, Meleyna A. Martinez, Anai I. Garcia, Noah C. Garcia; three great grandchildren, Jairo I. Moctezuma, Luca J. Muñoz and Jeremiah J. Muñoz.

The Garcia family will honor their loved one on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9 pm.  A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Asherton where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at a later date.
