Ramiro Aldape Jr., 72, entered eternal rest, July 21, 2026, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mr. Aldape was born November 24, 1953, to Antonia Hernandez Aldape and Ramiro Aldape Sr. Mr. Aldape is preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Dora Betancourt Aldape, Daughter, Angie Aldape, sister, Irene Rodriguez, and grandson, Keanu Porfirio Horner.

Ramiro is survived by his daughter, Andrea Aldape Horner and husband, James P. Horner, son, Anthony Aldape and wife, Alisha Aldape, sisters, Alicia Martinez, Dora Betancourt, Melissa Jenkins, granddaughter, Annalia Aldape, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The Aldape family will honor their loved one on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe #4 Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Horner, Adrian Martinez, Mario Perez, Juan Puente, Richard Ramirez, Manuel Moreno, Samuel Betancourt Jr. and Jerry Lopez.
