Ricardo Barrera, 51, entered eternal rest Friday, March 15, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Barrera is preceded in death by his parents; Virginia Lira and Manuel Barrera, brothers; Daniel Barrera, Gilbert Barrera and Manuel Barrera.
Ricardo is survived by his partner; Mirissa Cruz, daughters; Jaclyn Barrera, Amanda Gonzalez and Adriana Barrera, sons; Ricardo Barrera Jr., Patrick Barrera and Lorenzo Barrera, brothers; Mario Barrera and Alex Barrera, sisters; Emilia Barrera, Juanita Flores and Silvia Barrera, grandchildren; Melanie Davila, Bryleigh Davila, Kylie Davila, Tommy Martinez, Ariella Martinez, Giselle Gonzalez, and Jesse Gonzalez.
The Barrera family will honor their loved one on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carrizo Springs where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at a Guadalupe #4.
