Ruben G. Garza, 72, entered eternal rest, May 24, 2025, at his home in Carrizo Springs, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Garza is preceded in death by his parents, Aurora Garcia Garza and Delfino V. Garza.

Ruben is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Maria Ruiz Garza, children; Melissa Garza, Ruben Garza Jr., Delilah Garza, Conrad Garza; siblings; Domingo Garza, Juanita Garza Avila, Delfino Garza Jr. +, Miguel Garza, Ernesto Garza, Diana Garza +, Carlos Garza, grandchildren; Ruben Garza III, Clarissa Garza, Marco Garza, Divina Garza, Danielle "Dani" Garza, Brian Garza, Emma Garza, Carianna Garza +, Madi Flores.

The Garza family will honor their loved one on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Garza, Ernesto Garza Jr., Omar Garza, Jose Luis Sepeda, Roy Gonzalez, George Garza, Juan Jose Cardona and Ricardo Hernandez.
