Simon M. Garcia, 89, entered into eternal rest, November 12, 2023, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Bartola Morales Garcia; seven brothers and sisters.

Simon is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-two years Juanita Carranza Garcia; daughters, Rosalinda Garcia, Yolanda Cantu ( Joey Cantu); sons, Jose Luis Garcia, Jesus Garcia (Lisa Hernandez), Daniel Garcia; brothers, Reynaldo Garcia, Guadalupe Garcia; sisters, Petra Mendoza, Antonia Martinez, Julia Salazar, Carmela Milz, Rosa Arce, Jesusa Garcia; grandchildren, Lynnette Garcia, Christina Garcia, Rene Carranza, Junior Garcia, Felicia Carranza, Adrianne Waddell, Joey Garcia, Enrique Garcia, Sean Cantu, Amberly Cantu, Jesus Garcia, Simon Garcia, Juanita Garcia and numerous great grandchildren.

The Garcia family will honor their loved one on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4 pm to 9 pm. A rosary will begin at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow to the Guadalupe #4 in Carrizo Springs.
