Victor Manuel Puente, 73, entered eternal rest, August 14, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Puente was born on January 20, 1952, to Maria A. Munoz Puente + and Ignacio D. Puente +. Mr. Puente is preceded in death by his parents, and sister; Sylvia Puente.

Victor is survived by his daughter; Eva Resendez Ramirez and husband, Rolando Ramirez Jr., grandchildren; Cyrus Ethan Zarate, Alfredo Gutierrez III, and A'Lexie Gutierrez, great grandchild; Cyrus Ethan Zarate Jr., siblings; Ignacio "Nacho" Puente Jr. and wife, Grace, Maria Elena Reyes and husband, Reynaldo, Alfredo Puente and wife, Esther +, Roy Puente and wife, Olga +, Joe L. Puente and Thelma, Juan L. Puente and Elisa, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The Puente family will honor their loved one on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe #4 Cemetery.
