Vidal G. Diaz Jr., 71, entered eternal rest, December 17, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Diaz was born on August 23, 1954, to Herminia Gonzalez and Vidal Diaz Sr. Mr. Diaz is preceded in death by his parents, son; Michael Rodriguez, brothers; David Diaz and George Diaz.

Vidal is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Ana Luisa Diaz, children; Samantha Diaz, Billy J. Diaz, Leroy Rodriguez, siblings; Roberto Diaz, Hector Diaz, Armando Diaz, Xavier Diaz, Albert Diaz, Adrian Diaz, Juanita DeLeon, Alexandra Vallejo, along with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

The Diaz family will honor their loved one on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m.
