San Juanita Galindo, 73, entered eternal rest, October 18, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Galindo was born on September 25, 1953, to Eduardo Panalez and Maria Simona Vargas Panalez in Asherton, Texas. Mrs. Galindo is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 49 years, Juan Jaime Galindo, brothers, Eduardo Panalez Jr., Jesus Panalez, Clemente Tapia, Manuel Panalez.

San Juanita is survived by her daughters, Lori Galindo and husband, Amon Simmon, Mary Galindo, sons, Alberto Galindo, Juan Jaime Galindo and wife, Sylvia, Rocky Galindo, sisters, Susana Aranda, Nene Rodriguez, Lidia Wrede, Rebecca Reyes, along with 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.

The Galindo family will honor their loved one on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. A viewing will be held at Leonard Funeral home on Friday October 23, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church which will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Asherton, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alberto Galindo Jr., Dallas Galindo, Marcus Galindo, Elijah Galindo, Brian Rodriguez, Francisco Mejia, Jayden Fritz, Emmitt Galindo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Austin and Josiah Simmons.
